VIRTUAL PROGRAMS
The McAuliffe Center offers a number of engaging virtual programs designed to engage directly with your students, whether they are together in the classroom or learning remotely. Explore our many program options in the categories below to find the right learning experience for the students in your class, learning pod, out-of-school time program, and homeschool co-op. Some of our virtual programs are also designed for individual participants or groups of adult learners.
All our virtual programs are LIVE, engage participants in synchronous activities, and encourage interaction between the participants and our expert program facilitators. Receive a 10% discount off of total fees for every four of the same program booked!
MISSION SIMULATIONS
Participants work in teams and take on the roles of astronauts, scientists, and engineers engaged in space exploration simulations that test their teamwork, problem solving, and decision-making skills. The mostly self-paced activities are facilitated by our experienced educators. Designed for students in grades 5-12, but the activities are easily adapted to groups of learners of all ages. 45-75 minutes long.
EARTH AND SPACE EXPLORATIONS
Participants engage in live, interactive explorations of a wide range of earth and space science topics. Group presentations with interactive elements are offered by our experienced educators. Designed for K-12 students, the presentations are easily adapted to public groups and learners of all ages. 45-60 minutes long.
