Massachusetts STEM Week 2025
October 20 - October 24
The theme for 2025 is STEM Starts Now!
Massachusetts STEM Week 2025 will take place from October 20 – 24, and is a statewide collaborative effort organized by the Executive Office of Education and the STEM Advisory Council in partnership with the state’s nine Regional STEM Networks, like MetroWest STEM Education Network (managed by the McAuliffe Center), which plan and coordinate activities with local school communities, community leaders, and business partners.

Young women, students of color, English language learners, and students with disabilities continue to be underrepresented in STEM fields, yet make up a larger percentage of the overall workforce. We need this statewide effort to boost the interest, awareness, and ability of all young people to see themselves in STEM opportunities.
STEM Week is always a huge success with both in-person and virtual events across the Commonwealth. Schools, non-profit organizations, colleges, museums, and businesses all participate to host and organize STEM Week events for students ranging from pre-school to college.
