When people hear the word "bee", they often think only of the European honey bee, a domesticated, introduced species, or perhaps a time they were stung, often by a yellowjacket wasp rather than a bee! This event will introduce you to the wide variety of local wild bee species and the habitats on which they depend, and help you learn how to identify the often-overlooked bees in your neighborhoods.
