MathWorks Hosts:
The Power of Data in Climate Science
Monday, October 16 from 4:30pm-6:00pm
Alumni Room, Framingham State University
During Massachusetts STEM Week 2023
Join MathWorks for a workshop session where you will learn about the power of data in climate science! Intended for high school and college students and all educators.
In this presentation, we will explore how scientists and engineers are utilizing MATLAB and Simulink to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of climate science. We will also showcase how these powerful tools can aid in the analysis of climate data and help to answer questions such as: “Is the Amazon rainforest disappearing?” and “What is a heatwave?”
During the session, participants will have the opportunity to explore and visualize data hands-on using these tools. Bringing a laptop is encouraged!
