About Multiverse Concert Series and Octave of Light

Multiverse Concert Series is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization consisting of a team of scientists, artists, and musicians. In addition to being featured several times on WGBH, they have performed at venues such as the Charles Hayden Planetarium at Boston’s Museum of Science, MIT’s Killian Hall, and Watertown’s Mosesian Center for the Arts.

Octave of Light is an album inspired by the search for life on exoplanets, and the clues that might reveal life’s presence: chemical signs like water vapor, methane, and oxygen. Throughout the performance of the album, you'll learn a musical language of molecules, elements and exoplanets - woven into songs for soprano, piano, violin, and electronics. Explore possible worlds through evocative discussion, immersive music, and mind-bending art in this cohesive, multimedia experience!
