Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts
Saturday, November 5
Juniors: 9am-12pm
Cadettes: 1pm-4pm
Framingham State University
Try your hand at an industrial engineering challenge! Join Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts from across eastern Massachusetts at Framingham State University to try a hands-on engineering activity.
In this workshop, you will create an assembly line with the women and Girl Scout alum of Raytheon Technologies. Together, you will try to figure out the most effective way to mass-produce an item and take a peek into the world of astronomy careers in the McAuliffe Center planetarium!
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to discover and explore STEM career paths and engage directly with engineers, project managers, and other experts from Raytheon Technologies.
Patch included. This is a drop-off program.
The event registration fee is $30.00 per girl. You must be a Girl Scouts member to register; however, membership registration is available at the same time as event registration!
