Experience an evening in the planetarium featuring the live planetarium show A Galactic Odyssey followed by the planetarium film Big Astronomy. Program length is one hour

A galactic Odyssey - live

Embark on a journey to explore the gravitational giants in our Local Group, from the small dwarf galaxies to the large spiral galaxies in our cosmic neighborhood.

Big Astronomy - film

Take a journey through observatories used by professional astronomers in the gorgeous mountains of Chile, one of the best astronomical observing locations on Earth. Our planetarium is transformed into a giant observatory dome as astronomers investigate the Solar System and the distant observable Universe. Visit with the technicians from an array of STEM disciplines who build, maintain, and operate these huge instruments.

PRICING:
Ages 5 and under = FREE
Ages 6-12 = $5
Ages 13+ = $10

Please note:
Program length is one hour. Walk-ins welcome, dependent on availability.
All tickets are open seating.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Food/drink and strollers are not allowed in the Planetarium.

The McAuliffe Center is located at the rear of O’Connor Hall on the campus of Framingham State University. Enter the McAuliffe Center through O’Connor Parking Lot.

Parking:
All vehicles parked on the FSU campus for this program require a valid FSU Parking Pass or the vehicle is subject to a parking ticket and tow at the owner’s expense. About one week before the event, you will receive a parking pass and an FSU campus map with parking information.

*If you purchased a ticket and did not receive a parking pass, please stop by the McAuliffe Center BEFORE you park your car to obtain a parking pass and additional parking information.
